Who the heck is Rock Strider?

Here’s the short version…
Son of Amadeus and Rebecca Strider, dad goes missing during Rock’s early years, mother later marries some ex-weaponist named Albert. Fast forward to about a year ago, when his mom passed away. Albert gets an offer from the Commander to make human augmentation gear. At first he refuses, I guess out of respect for Rock and his mom, but eventually he caves in to the pressure and takes the grant. A little while ago Albert just doesn’t come home one day, and about a week later the Commander announces his army of Robot Masters over public television. About a month later the first Robot Master outbreak happens. Apparently something went horribly wrong, and now there’s some muscled-up dickwad throwing cars down the highway. Rock decides to fight back and try to find where his stepdad went, and along the way he runs into my little “operation" I’m running.
That’s pretty much it. Oh yeah, and he builds things. LOTS of things.
